Barbadian economist and investment promotion leader Kaye Greenidge has been confirmed as President of the Caribbean Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (CAIPA) for the period 2026-2027, following her appointment by the CAIPA General Assembly on 27 February 2026.

The CAIPA General Assembly has confirmed Kaye Greenidge as President of CAIPA for the 2026-2027 term, following her service as Acting President since 2025. Greenidge, who serves as Chief Executive Officer of Invest Barbados, assumes the substantive role with immediate effect after a special confirmation process conducted by CAIPA Members.

An economist by training, Greenidge brings to the Presidency more than two decades of experience spanning senior roles in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs in Barbados, commercial banking, and her current leadership of Invest Barbados, the national investment promotion agency.  Her background in structuring financial and investment solutions and leading major asset portfolios positions her to guide CAIPA’s regional investment promotion efforts over the next two years.
