More About Invest Barbados

Invest Barbados started out as the Barbados International Business Promotion Corporation (BIBPC), established as a statutory corporation in November 2005. We then gained permission to trade as Invest Barbados, and became operational in October 2006.

Our remit expanded in 2007 when the International Business Division of the Barbados Investment and Development Corporation (BIDC) was transferred to Invest Barbados. So we now have responsibility for promoting international business. We also help to develop and manage the Barbados international business brand.
