Invest Barbados will once again be participating in the Business Insurance World Captive Forum, the widely known international captive insurance conference, which will be held from January 24-26, 2024 at the JW Mariott Orlando, Grande Lakes Resort, Orlando, Florida.
Now in its 33rd year, the must-attend event will continue to provide the high calibre educational content in the form of several conference sessions and roundtable discussions, an exhibit hall and meaningful networking opportunities.
Sessions will include topics such as Strategic and Innovative Captive Uses, The Anatomy of a Captive Transaction – Exit Solutions, Reinsurance & Fronting and Artificial Intelligence & Emerging Risks, among others.

At the end of September 2023, the Financial Services Commission reported that there were 266 active captives in Barbados, with the majority originating from Canada and the USA.
