As Invest Barbados continues to expand its promotional outreach globally, members of the promotions team will be heading to Europe to participate in the European Captive Forum 2025 in Luxembourg from November 5-6.
Described as “the most important captive event of the year”, this leading networking and educational event for captive owners, captive managers, domiciles and those who serve and advise the captive insurance community, will take place at the European Convention Centre.
Over the two days, the European Captive Forum is anticipated to attract 800+ delegates including 350+ risk managers from across 20+ countries. With over 100 speakers slated to present on a range of industry related topics, attendees can expect to gain several insights and take advantage of the available networking opportunities.
Barbados continues to rank among the top ten captive insurance domiciles worldwide. As of December 31, 2024, the Financial Services Commission reported that there were 273 active captive insurance companies in Barbados.
