The Barbados delegation has been busy at COP28.
The island has signed a new bilateral investment treaty with the United Arab Emirates.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Kerrie Symmonds inked the agreement on behalf of Barbados.
Officials note the treaty will allow for the protection of investments between the two nations and will facilitate the development and expansion of commercial relations in several areas.
