One of the Big Four accounting firms, KPMG has expanded its operations in Barbados. The companies that would eventually come together to form KPMG have been in existence on the island since 1969. Since then the company has grown significantly, recently adding three new Partners, thereby enhancing the organisation’s capabilities and capacity across its Audit, Tax and Advisory service areas.

The firm, which now features a redesigned and renovated space, has incorporated state-of-the-art technology and collaboration tools to help the firm’s clients and employees take advantage of the new technologies and global approaches. The renovations also afford KPMG additional space to accommodate more employees, clients and partners, all of whom facilitate its expansion strategy.

According to Kevin Lloyd, Chairman of KPMG Islands Group, “Our Barbados member firm has always been one of the cornerstones of our regional network and has played an important role in driving growth across the region, both for our firm and for our clients. This investment really reflects our view that Barbados will be a key driver of growth over the coming decade.”
