The most recent issue of Central Bank of Barbados’ International Business and Finance Services (IBFS) electronic newsletter is now available. This quarter’s newsletter focuses mainly on news arising from activities, discussions and analyses emanating from the Central Bank of Barbados and its activities.
One of the featured articles highlights Canada’s continued partnership with Barbados’ IBFS Sector and the Central Bank’s initiatives to underscore Barbados’ sound international business brand.
Find out more about the country’s Financial Stability Report, which is due to be released in early February 2014. The report, which is jointly produced by the Central Bank of Barbados and the Financial Services Commission, analyses a range of financial stability indicators for banks and other financial institutions.
The current issue also highlights the proposed agenda items for the one-day IBFS Seminar, scheduled to be held on March 12, 2014. The seminar, now in its fourth year, is designed for stakeholders in the IBFS sector to discuss, analyse and share recent developments within the sector and devise viable solutions to arising challenges.
