The Barbados International Business Association (BIBA) held its Annual General Meeting on Thursday, June 16, 2016, and a new board was appointed to handle the affairs of the organisation.

The new board for 2016-2017 is as follows:

2nd Vice President – Ms. Julia Taggart
Treasurer – Mr. Nicholas Crichlow
Secretary – Ms. Cadian Drummond

It includes the President’s Report, as well as reports from the Executive Director and the various committees, such as the Legal Profession, Insurance, Banking & Wealth Management, Marketing and Communications, Tax and IBCs/Service Providers.

A summary of the activities undertaken by the BIBA-Canada, BIBA Charity and an overview of International Business Week 2015 are also included.

BIBA is a private sector organisation which comprises companies engaged in international business in Barbados, as well as companies otherwise strategically associated with this sector. Its mission is to work in partnership with the government towards the development of the international business sector in the interest of Barbados and the members of the Association.
