Barbados will become signatory to a Barbados-China Double Taxation Protocol this week.

Minister of International Business, George Hutson, will deliver an address and sign the agreement, during a ceremony on Wednesday, February 10, at 9:30 a.m. It will take place in the 2nd Floor Conference Room, Warrens Office Complex. China’s Ambassador to Barbados, Mr. Wei Qiang, will also sign the accord.

The new protocol reflects changes in China’s domestic laws.

Barbados has enjoyed 33 years of uninterrupted diplomatic relations with the People’s Republic of China.
