DESCRIPTION:Invest Barbados in collaboration with Export Barbados will be h
 osting a Liberia Inward Mission: Business Roundtable Discussion &amp\; Exh
 ibition on May 10\, 2024\, at the Hilton Barbados Resort from 9:00 a.m. 
 – 1:00 p.m.\n\nThis invitation-only event is just one of many activities
  planned during the historic visit of over 250 Liberians\, who will arrive
  in Barbados from May 6-13 in recognition of the 159th Anniversary of the 
 Migration of 346 Barbadians to the West African country.\n\nThe pilgrimage
  presents a unique opportunity to broaden Barbadians’ knowledge of Liber
 ia and to explore the possibility of cultural cooperation and a knowledge 
 exchange between the two countries. It also provides an opportunity for in
 vestment and business prospects\, as well as to learn more about the work 
 in research and genealogy being undertaken by the Department of Archives a
 nd The University of the West Indies chronicling the Barbados/Liberia expe
 rience.\n\nThrough the Liberia-Barbados Business Roundtable and Exhibition
 \, Invest Barbados will capitalise on the potential investment opportuniti
 es between the two countries\, forge closer partnerships with the Liberian
  contingent\, while sharing Barbados’ value proposition.  The agenda wi
 ll also comprise an ‘Overview of Liberia's Economic Landscape’\, a pan
 el discussion identifying the challenges and opportunities faced by invest
 ors in Liberia\, as well as presentations on ‘Trade Opportunities in Bar
 bados’ and ‘Buying Real Estate in Barbados’.\n\nUnder the theme\, 
 ‘Sankofa: The Pilgrimage to Barbados’\, the visit is being co-ordinate
 d by a team from Liberia\, headed by Ambassador Llewelyn Witherspoon and t
 he Division of Culture\, Prime Minister’s Office.\n\nFor further informa
