DESCRIPTION:The fifth AfriCaribbean Trade and Investment Forum (ACTIF) will
  be held in Basseterre\, St. Kitts and Nevis from July 29-31\, 2026\, at t
 he St. Kitts Marriott Resort.\n\nHosted by the Afreximbank and the St. Kit
 ts and Nevis government under the overarching theme\, ‘Shared Roots. New
  Routes: Creating Pathways for Enterprise and Innovation’\, the business
  forum is designed in part to offer solutions to address issues that affec
 t African/Caribbean economies\, as well as to drive intra-African trade an
 d investment flows between the two regions.\n\nThe three-day programme wil
 l include high-level plenaries\, targeted business-to-business (B2B) meeti
 ngs\, an exhibition showcasing investment opportunities and side events fo
 cused on key sectors such as technology\, tourism\, renewable energy and f
 inancial services.\n\nThe event is anticipated to attract more than 1\,000
  attendees\, mainly from Africa\, the Caribbean and the wider diaspora tha
 t will include thought leaders\, senior government officials\, business le
 aders\, innovators and investors.  In addition to thought provoking prese
 ntations and panel discussions\, there will be several networking opportun
 ities geared toward creating and strengthening bonds among delegates.\n\nI
