The export of indigenous services is a key strategy employed by Barbados to diversify into other areas of economic activity. The promotion of indigenous services exports should realise a number of benefits, including the generation of high quality employment opportunities, the stimulation of entrepreneurial activity, an increase in export revenue, and an accelerated transition to a knowledge based economy.

Transfer of Responsibilities for Winning New Export Business

Responsibility for the promotion of export services from Barbados, has been transferred from Invest Barbados to the Barbados Investment and Development Corporation.
