Health and Wellness Conference

The Ministry of Health in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, the Barbados Coalition of Service Industries and Invest Barbados will be staging a Health and Wellness Conference entitled "Barbados an International Health and Wellness Destination. Educated. Sophisticated. Regulated". 

The conference will be held at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Conference Centre  on March 17 - 18, 2010. It will target key stakeholders in the industry including health and wellness professionals, business development organisations, financial institutions, educational institutions, the media and health regulators.

Invest Barbados will host a Breakfast Seminar on March 18, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m.

Mr. Brian Gooch, Principal, Gooch and Associates will address the topic, "JCI Accreditation and Its Benefits to the Health and Wellness Sector". The main topics to be discussed at this session will include international standards, accreditation and an appropriate incentives structure for the development of the sector.
